Dr. Moses Ikiara is the Managing Director of the Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest), a position he has held since 2013. Previously, Dr. Ikiara was the Executive Director of the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) and also worked as a lecturer in the School of Environmental Studies (SES) of Moi University.
Dr. Ikiara holds a PhD in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, as well as an MA in Economics from the University of Nairobi.
He has extensive experience in public policy covering multiple issues including trade and Foreign Direct Investment, and was involved in the development of key policy documents including the Economic Recovery Strategy for Wealth and Employment Creation (ERS) and the Kenya Vision 2030.
