Declan Galvin is the Head of Insight, Information, & Intelligence (3i) at WS Insight and an expert on political, security, and terror-related risks in East Africa. WS Insight is a leading risk advisory and security management company working with embassies, private companies, humanitarian groups, and non-governmental organizations.
Declan is a highly experienced investigator, intelligence manager, and analyst supplying commercial and diplomatic audiences with security-information services and risk advisory solutions. Prior to joining Insight, Declan investigated election malpractice in several African countries, managed intelligence networks throughout East Africa, and supported the intelligence priorities of public and private sector clients.
Declan is the Chairman of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance committee on election preparedness and was appointed to the Mkenya Daima Steering Committee supporting peaceful Kenyan elections. He is also on the Board of Governors at the McAfee Institute and Board of Directors for the Professional Criminology Association of Kenya.
